The Grill Stratford

I had booked for my fiancé birthday. Such a lovely place, food was fresh and delicious. Specially their starter Mac& cheese with grilled chicken strips. Service was very good. We had fun. Highly recommend for small gatherings and birthdays.

Very amazing experience from the start, no reservation made and got a table immediately even though it was a Saturday. Had QR code on the table to check the menu and order food on, very convenient. Food and drinks came just after 20 minutes and after seeing the quality of the food I was very surprised it only took 20 minutes. The chicken and steak were very tender (chicken fell off the bone as soon as I even tried to put it on my place) , we ordered the ‘mega feast’ and it was much larger than expected (we had to end up taking takeaway). Also I can’t stress enough how perfectly seasoned everything was, even their special sauces they bring with the food is beyond perfect. Honestly this alone is the main reason I WILL be returning! Drinks were also very nice, especially the bubblegum mocktail. Staff were very nice and friendly, checking in on us if we needed anything but not to the point where it was smothering. Manager was also very friendly and welcoming! The prices were very affordable (£7-20 each) with large portions. And if you’re a picky eater like me this place is definitely for you! (They also have the option to put special requests for each food item when ordering online, so very easy to ask to remove certain things!)

Food was really good with the perfect amount of flavour. The mocktails were lovely and not too sweet. The customer service was great, everyone was helpful and attentive. It’s a quiet, casual, low-key spot, perfect for a pre-meal before an event. Will definitely be back

Great Family-Friendly Halal Spot! We visited The Stratford Grill for dinner and had such a wonderful experience. The food was excellent – the steaks were juicy and full of flavour, and the desserts were a real treat. What really stood out was how family-friendly the place is. It felt welcoming and comfortable, making it easy to enjoy the evening with everyone. We also really appreciated that the menu is halal, which gave us peace of mind and let us enjoy everything without worry. Had an amazing experience at the grill in Stratford very good customer service very nice food I enjoyed everything but especially loved them creamy mash the most and I got a mixed grill cooked well well seasoned and amazing service from Rahul very good always checking in seeing if we wanted anything more, how are we enjoying the food? The Grill Stratford is a whole vibe. Started with the Black Tiger Prawns and wow… juicy, smoky, perfect. For mains we got the Mega Feast for 2. Half frango, lamb chops, wings, spicy chicken sausages, grilled chicken strips, plus two sides. Everything was seasoned properly and the portions? Generous. Tried the Blue Lagoon cocktail and it was sweet and refreshing, goes with everything. Ended with the Peanut Butter Fix and a warm Cardamom Chai… the dream combo. If you love flavour and fire, this spot is a must.

Food was very good but can be better in places, kartik and mani were friendly and attentive. They gave a free sauce on the house and were attentive and checked all was ok. The recommended burger was tasty and tender and curly fries were nice when hot and fresh. The mini grill was OK but chicken wings a little smelly and one of the lamb chops had a bit of uncooked fat in the crevice, the other one was nice and sausage, chicken strips and rice were tasty. I left satisfied as portion sizes were decent value for money, a little pricey considering no sides offered with mains but expected for a nice night out in a restaurant. Will consider returning again as there's enough good food but will avoid the chicken wings.

I recently had a fantastic meal at The Grill Stratford and wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, the food was absolutely top-notch, and it's a spot I'd highly recommend. For starters, I got the buffalo wings and black tiger prawns. The wings had a great kick and were perfectly cooked, while the prawns were juicy and full of flavour. Both dishes were a great way to kick off the meal. But the real star of the show was the ribeye steak. It was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth with every bite. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. While my main focus was on the steak, I also had a taste of the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and a great choice if you're not in the mood for a steak. Overall, the quality of the food at The Grill Stratford is superb. If you're looking for a place with excellent steaks and a solid menu all around, this is definitely the place to go.
